Welcome Gators!

Yes your’e correct. This is NOT my first nosh visit. I’m still working on  re-adding my favorites.

A LATE breakfast. I arrived at nosh about 10:15ish. I had an early Dr’s appointment so I couldn’t go at my usual crack-O-dawn opening time.

My very friendly server Renee sat me by my usual requested window seat. Coffee was procured.   8   We had a discussion about my lack of a proper coat and the benefits of the BREKFST mobile having remote start.   10    No Carpet   10   Modern Pop Music   7

nosh has a wide variety of interesting options and a fairly extensive Booze menu. It was a difficult decision. I ended up with 4 (Foodze not Booze)

1

MONTE CRISTO BENEDICT
English muffin topped with thinly sliced ham, melted gruyere cheese, poached eggs and grape hollandaise.Monte Cristo Benedict

I had several starch choices but chose Basque fries. Fries for breakfast? Better than I thought. Hot Crispy and the seasoning was great   8   The Muffin was toasted. (You know how I feel about that)   Standard English Muffin   7      The Ham was Pigarific. Sweet Salty and Mildly Porky   9   The Eggs were cooked in a mold. They were somewhere between poached and baked. One was cooked perfectly and one was a tad over (my preference to a tad under)   7   The Grape Hollandaise is slightly Grapey slightly sweet. Good   8   This dish is a big hit with me. I loved it. An almost unheard of   9   Yes you are reading that correctly.

SAVORY FRENCH TOAST
Baguette soaked in herb batter with diced applewood-smoked bacon and caramelized onions, drizzled with sour cream.

As much as I loved the last dish this was a bit dialed back on the scale. Partly because you know by the very fact that it’s French Toast I’m expecting a well soaked soft eggy custardy moist french toast but there is a 98% chance that I’m going to get bread that is flashed through the custard and tossed on the flat top producing what is just dry bread with a little scrambled egg on the outside. That’s what I got. UGH!  4   The Bacon Onion Sour Cream Combo was good   6   The addition of real Maple Syrup at Renee’s suggestion pushed it to a   7   If the French Toast was really French Toast rather that dry bread this could have been pushed up at least one more point.

NOTE: This is 1/2 an Order

CHILAQUILES
House-made nachos sauteed with spicy salsa topped with queso fresco and two eggs, any style served with cilantro sour cream… add avocado… add carnitas, chicken, chorizo

I Added Carnitas and Avocado. I requested Sunnyside Up Eggs and that the whites be cooked all the way. The Whites were gooey in spite of my request   6    The pork was Lean Porky Soft Seasoned Well Tasty   8   Cilantro Sour Cream A SPICY   8    Overall a pretty good version of this dish   8

BANANAS FOSTER
Pancakes topped with sauteed bananas, candied pecans, dried cherries and caramel sauce.

The Pancakes Tasted House Made. A tad thin but light and tasty. The Topping was JUST sweet enough. I added some of the supplied Maple Syrup. Needed Butter. I really like butter on pancakes. Overall this is a good combination. I would get this again.   8

That wraps up nosh. On the list of Breakfast Gator Favorites. Get over there.

Thanks for the great Service Renee and the other young lady that helped out and the very attentive bus guy. He even gave me some Butter for my Leftover Cakes. Yes I actually took them. The regular readers know that I really don’t like leftovers.

OK Gators I’m off to my next adventure!
